Lisa
Lisa was born in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1967, but grew up in Richmond, IN. She moved to the East coast in 1992 to study Intercultural Communication at UMBC after receiving her BA in French. She was formerly the Deputy Director of the Institute for International Public Policy and is currently serving as Director of Grant Programs at the American Dental Education Association. Lisa has worked, lived and studied in both France and Germany, but she now resides in Silver Spring, Maryland. Lisa's work has appeared in galleries across the United States and in Brazil. In 2008, she was selected to be the Official Photogrpaher for the President of Mali during his historic visit to Washington. She covered meetings at the White House and Pentagon. Lisa's first solo exhibition took place at Earlham College in Oct. ‘07. It was called “The Language of Light.” She is a member of the Exposure Group African-American Photographer's Association and Black Professionals in International Affairs.
